Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in the United Kingdom is hiring an Assembly Technician to support our MRO operations. You will assemble and test Airbus Single Aisle family nose and forestay, main gears and sidestays, delivering quality work to meet customer expectations.

Starting salary is 37,241 with progression to 39,465 after training, plus a shift premium. We offer day, late, night shifts and occasional weekends, with a diverse team and opportunities to grow within a global aerospace leader.

Qualifications

• Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ in aerospace/manufacturing
• Experience reading maintenance manuals, drawings, layouts and service bulletins/letters
• Ability to use precision measuring and test equipment
• Understanding of basic electrical circuitry for harness/test
• Knowledge of Lean Sigma and 5S principles

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test Airbus Single Aisle family nose and forestay, and main gears and sidestays with high quality
• Continuously improve quality and efficiency of assembly and test processes
• Deliver a product in line with quality, cost and delivery targets
