Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent) with aerospace or aviation maintenance experience.
• Previous landing gear maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings and engineering instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and fault diagnosis.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Willing and able to travel internationally at short notice, including frequent overseas assignments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, overhaul, assemble and test aircraft landing gear systems and components.
• Conduct on-site maintenance, repair and recertification at customer facilities worldwide.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, drawings and airworthiness documentation.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and certification documentation.
• Prepare, maintain and control specialised tooling used during maintenance activities.
