Job summary

ARM in Filton is seeking an Aircraft Fitter (Skilled & Semi-Skilled) for a 12-month contract on defence and aerospace programmes. You will work from engineering instructions and aircraft drawings, using hand tools and power tools, and complete tasks to exacting standards.

This role requires an engineering apprenticeship or NVQ/certification, the ability to work in a team, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools in fitter/assembler roles.
• A recognised engineering apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds in the relevant field.
• Commitment to Health and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineering instructions and aircraft drawings.
• Complete tasks to required standards.
• Use power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing.
