Job summary

Guidant Global is recruiting Skilled and Semi-Skilled Aircraft Fitters for Airbus at Filton. You will work from engineering drawings, assemble components, drill and seal using hand tools in a hands-on production setting.

The role requires BPSS+ clearance and a completed engineering apprenticeship or NVQ levels. The contract is 12 months with potential extension and permanent opportunities may arise.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and working from engineering drawings.
• Previous fitter/assembly operator background in aerospace or similar.
• Strong health & safety awareness and ability to work at height or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Interpret aircraft drawings to perform fitting and assembly tasks.
• Use hand and power tools to drill, shim and seal components.
• Work within the Build Production environment on Airbus aircraft.
• Complete required training for 1st party certification as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and work ethic to minimize risk.
