Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems UK is seeking a Project Manager for Aftermarket programs in Wolverhampton. You will lead a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery against cost, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction objectives.

You will act as the primary customer contact, maintain strong relationships, and drive governance, reporting and performance data across IPDT teams to support informed decisions and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in leading projects with cost, schedule and quality targets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and governance experience.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and change control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Aftermarket projects ensuring delivery to cost, schedule, quality and performance targets.
  • Act as primary customer contact at working level and maintain relationships.
  • Develop, maintain and control project schedules, baselines, milestones and performance data.
  • Gather, analyse and communicate KPIs to support informed decisions.
  • Lead and administer project governance activities including risk reviews and change boards.
  • Produce and support internal and external project reporting and governance deliverables.

Your Role

Project Manager responsible for leading a portfolio of Aftermarket platforms, ensuring successful delivery against cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of Aftermarket projects, ensuring delivery to agreed cost, schedule, quality and performance targets.
  • Act as the primary customer contact at working level, maintaining strong relationships and monitoring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, maintain, and control project schedules, baselines, milestones, and performance data.
  • Gather, analyse, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead and administer project governance activities, including risk reviews, change control boards, and programme reviews.
  • Produce and support internal and external project reporting, documentation, and governance deliverables.
Essential skills
  • Strong customer focus, understanding key stakeholder needs and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, effectively conveying information across Integrated Project Development Teams (IPDT) and senior stakeholders.
  • Project management expertise, with knowledge of lifecycle phases, cost management, and risk assessment.
Desirable skills
  • Highly flexible and adaptable, responding to changing business priorities and project scope.
  • Strong analytical problem‑solving approach with a structured and methodical execution style.
  • Experience or specialist knowledge in Aftermarket project management, governance, or specific project management tools.
  • APM (or equivalent) accreditation – PFQ level preferred.
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) with specialist knowledge in project management tools, policies, and standards across multiple lifecycle phases.
