Job summary

Avove is expanding to support the Scottish Power Energy Networks contract. We seek Arborists to perform vegetation management, aerial pruning, and safe tree work on a major energy infrastructure project.

Ideal candidates hold utility NPTC qualifications, are skilled in chainsaw and MEWP operations, and can contribute to team development while maintaining high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Key Utility Arb NPTC qualifications required.
• Progression training path and First Aid qualifications valued.
• Ability to operate chainsaws, woodchippers and MEWPs safely.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vegetation management and tree works on the network.
• Performing aerial tree pruning, dismantling and felling per safety standards.
• Operating chainsaws, woodchippers, MEWPs and other equipment.
• Maintaining safety and quality on all sites.
• Supporting team members and developing apprentices/new staff.
• Working at height using rope, harness or MEWP for aerial work.
