Job summary

Yellow Door in Hampshire and Southampton area is seeking an experienced Advocacy Services Coordinator to support ISVA and Diversity & Inclusion Advocacy services. You will coordinate referrals, conduct risk and need assessments, allocate cases, and support staff to ensure trauma-informed services for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment; hybrid working is available

Job description

Yellow Door is an amazing charity that is quite literally changing lives for the better across the Hampshire area, with a team of around 100 staff and volunteers, working together to prevent and respond to domestic and sexual abuse. We provide a diverse and innovative range of services to local people of all ages and genders. Last year we engaged with over 4,500 clients to provide crucial support, information, and in some cases a lifeline. Right now, our services have never been more in demand, so our volunteers and supporters are absolutely critical to us. Southampton (Hybrid Working Available)

Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

£30,847 to £36,108 per annum

Starting salary dependent on skills and experience

About the Role

Yellow Door is seeking an experienced and compassionate Advocacy Services Coordinator to support the delivery of our Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) and Diversity & Inclusion Advocacy services.

You will coordinate referrals, undertake risk and need assessments, allocate cases, support advocacy staff, and help ensure high-quality, trauma-informed services for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.

About You

• Experience in advocacy, safeguarding, domestic abuse, sexual violence, or related support services
