ServiceNow is currently seeking a Senior Advisory Presales Solution Consultant to provide technical sales partnership and guidance to customers within the Insurance industry. The Solution Consultant will manage a portfolio of Enterprise Accounts, utilizing top-tier technical pre-sales techniques to demonstrate the capabilities, extensibility, and user-friendliness of the ServiceNow platform.

The Solution Consultant is a pre-sales technical expert with the ability to develop, position, and deliver technology-based solutions during sales cycles, aiming to meet quarterly and annual sales targets for an assigned territory.

  • Understand business and technical challenges addressed by ServiceNow products, including business transformation, operational efficiency, compliance, security, and evolving business needs.
  • Engage routinely with C-Suite Executives.
  • Interview customers both face-to-face and remotely to understand their technology architecture and business needs.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on account and strategy planning.
  • Lead non-technical discussions to help define objectives that ServiceNow can address and demonstrate business value.
  • Sell the value proposition of our solutions, focusing on benefits rather than just features.
  • Support and sometimes lead regional marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Conduct product demonstrations tailored to prospects and existing customers, onsite and via video conference.
  • Create and refine product demo scripts and scenarios.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform to provide consultative guidance and best practices.
  • Respond to RFI/RFP documents effectively.
  • Stay current on product developments and releases to brief customers, deliver demos, and lead Proof of Value/Proof of Concept cycles.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive analyses and differentiators.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Professional Services for transition briefings, setting expectations for deployment.
  • Represent ServiceNow as a subject matter expert at executive briefings and marketing events.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools, automating workflows, analyzing insights, or exploring AI's industry impact.
  • Approximately 8+ years of enterprise software pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Experience working with and selling to Insurance or related Financial Services enterprises with over 5,000 employees.
  • Proven ability to sell complex, multi-product or cross-platform solutions.
  • Solution or process experience with ITSM, Financial Management, PPM, DevOps, Agile, HRSD, GRC, Security Operations, ITOM, Cloud Management, or related technologies, including Generative AI.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new solutions quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience engaging with Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Understanding of business drivers around IT and the bigger picture.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline development and working with sales teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally, including to the US.
  • Fluency in English.
