Job summary

CAYSH is seeking an Advice and Support Officer in South London on a six-month fixed-term contract, with a salary of £28,551.86 per annum. You will support vulnerable young people and help develop and implement high-quality, person-centred support plans while safeguarding their wellbeing.

We value motivation, empathy and excellent communication, plus the ability to work with partner agencies to deliver holistic support and outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven background in motivating and inspiring others to reach their goals in life
• A good understanding of the needs and challenges faced by young and homeless people
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge on building empathy & trust, whilst maintaining professional boundaries and codes of conduct
• Knowledge and experience of child protection and the safeguarding of children and adults and associated good practice
• Ability to respond to incidents
• Experience working with different agencies and understanding support plans

Responsibilities
