Job summary

Outwood Academy Hindley is seeking an Advanced Teaching Assistant to support student achievement across learning platforms, delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups, both in person and online.

You will monitor progress, contribute to development plans, and assist diverse learners including those with SEND, EAL, and gifted/talented students. The role emphasizes safeguarding and CPD within OGAT.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 qualification relating to working with children and young people.
• Experience in delivering targeted interventions and supporting diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning activities and intervention programmes to small groups or individuals.
• Assess, monitor, and record student development and attainment using ICT systems.
• Support students with SEND and those for whom English is not their first language.
• Provide short-term cover for learning environments and support EHCP development.
• Manage resources and invigilate examinations.
