Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of up to 17 cases, ensuring every child receives timely support, safeguarding, and intervention.
  • Lead on complex areas of practice including child protection, child in need, pre-proceedings, and court work.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and professional support to a team of four social workers.
  • Support the team manager in decision-making and service delivery.
  • Undertake home visits and assessments, using your own vehicle to meet families where they are.
  • Deliver outcome-focused interventions designed to create meaningful and lasting change for children and families.
