Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking an Advanced Social Work Practitioner in the Broxtowe Community Social Work Team to lead and develop all-age working practices. You will support Team Managers and drive innovative changes to improve social care outcomes.

In This Role, You Will

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

• A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in adult social care, ideally in a community setting.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• You will either be an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) a Best Interests Assessor (BIA) or Practice Educator (Level 2) Knowledge and experience of safeguarding adult’s work within multi-agency procedures and experience of staff supervision, training, and development.
• You will have a full driver’s licence and the use of a car for work (unless disability precludes this).
