Job summary

West Lothian Council in Livingston, Scotland, is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Pupil Support Worker to join the team at Dedridge Primary School. You will support pupils in the Enhanced Resource Base and help implement strategies to boost social, emotional and learning progress within the school community.

The role is fixed term until 15 August 2027, part-time 28.75 hours per week over 39 weeks per year, with PVG scheme checks and SSSC registration required.

• Support pupils within the Enhanced Resource Base and mainstream classes.

• Support transitions within the school and local community.
• Assist with behaviour management and positive relationships among pupils.
• Monitor pupil progress and liaise with teaching staff to raise attainment.
