Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join the Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow for a 30-hour a week, part-time role in the Physiotherapy department.

The post requires HCPC registration and substantial post-registration experience in advanced musculoskeletal or specialist practice, with autonomous clinical decision-making and leadership within the team.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered physiotherapist with significant post-registration experience.
• Advanced musculoskeletal or specialist physiotherapy practice.
• Postgraduate training relevant to advanced practice (MSc/PGCert).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for complex cases.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment plans with advanced techniques.
• Work autonomously as first contact practitioner when appropriate.
• Lead clinical practice within the physiotherapy team and model standards.
• Contribute to service development, audits and pathway redesign.
• Lead audits, governance, and outcome monitoring for quality improvement.

The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow Is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.

This is a part-time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern with normal operating clinics Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm.

Duties of this role include:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for patients with complex presentations, including advanced clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment plans, incorporating advanced therapeutic techniques and, where appropriate, requesting and interpreting diagnostic imaging.
• Work autonomously, often as a first contact practitioner, referring to other healthcare professionals where necessary.
• Act as a clinical lead and role model within the physiotherapy team, supporting best practice and professional standards.
• Contribute to the strategic development and delivery of advanced physiotherapy services, including pathway redesign and integration.
• Lead and participate in service audits, clinical governance, and outcome monitoring to drive quality improvement.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Significant post-registration experience, including advanced musculoskeletal or specialist physiotherapy practice.
• Postgraduate training relevant to advanced practice (e.g. MSc, PGCert, or equivalent).
• Advanced clinical reasoning, assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Independent Prescriber or training towards prescribing.
• Experience in requesting and interpreting diagnostic imaging.
• Involvement in audit, service improvement, or research.
• Experience in private healthcare or first contact physiotherapy roles.
