Job summary

Woodside Medical Practice in Halford CP is seeking an experienced nurse to provide high-quality care through initial history taking, clinical assessment and evaluation of treatment. You will work with the GP team to meet patient needs, uphold NICE guidelines and maintain accurate records.

The post holder will demonstrate NMC-compliant advanced practice, leadership, and engagement in CPD. We are looking for up to full-time hours in a supportive, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or equivalent experience.
• Registered Nurse (NMC).
• Immunisations (flu, routine, travel).
• Wound Care / Treatment of small injuries / Removal of sutures & staples.
• Experience in GP practice or primary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care from history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Demonstrate evidence-based practice and safe clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with the practice team to meet patient needs and maintain records.
• Lead in areas of care and participate in CPD and governance activities.
