Job summary

Sidley Medical Practice, operated by Operose Health, is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the general practice team on a 27-hour-per-week basis. The post focuses on taking history, clinical assessment, diagnosis and ongoing outcome review.

Applicants should have a minor injury and illness qualification and primary care experience. Applications from those pursuing non-medical prescribing are welcome.

Qualifications

• NMC registration as a nurse is required.
• Experience in a primary care setting is desirable.
• Candidates working towards non-medical prescribing will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patients, from history taking through clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis within general practice.
• Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet patient needs.
• Support delivery of policy and procedures.
• Provide nurse leadership as required.

Education

Advanced clinical practice (or working towards non-medical prescriber status)

Level 7 MSc practitioner qualification

Accreditation or MSc to ACP status
