Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 7 Advanced Occupational Therapist to lead the Regional Paediatric Hands and Upper Limb Service. You will assess and treat children with traumatic and congenital hand conditions and support rehabilitation to maximise daily activity participation.

The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, service development and education activities to maintain high-quality, child-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in advanced hand therapy assessment and treatment.
• Ability to manage a specialist caseload of paediatric hand and upper limb conditions.
• Proven collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Manage a specialist caseload of children and young people with hand and upper limb conditions.
• Deliver advanced occupational therapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation programmes; provide specialist hand therapy interventions including splinting, orthotic management and functional rehabilitation.
• Work collaboratively with consultant surgeons, therapists, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Support children, young people and families to achieve meaningful functional goals and maximise participation in daily activities.
• Contribute to service development, audit, quality improvement and education activities.
