Job summary
East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Oncology Pharmacist - Electronic Prescribing to lead the EP system for systemic anti-cancer therapy and ensure safe, cost-effective medicines use. The role supports Mount Vernon Cancer Centre with policy development and clinical management for oncology patients.
Applicants should have pharmacy registration, with oncology EP experience preferred and a track record in leadership and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Qualified Pharmacist registered with GPhC.
- Experience in oncology pharmacy preferred.
- Experience in EP systems and clinical governance beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the EP system for SACT across Mount Vernon and linked sites.
- Support clinical management of cancer patients and policy development for safe prescribing.
- Provide expert oncology pharmacy advice to multidisciplinary teams and managers.
