NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the ANP team in West Dunbartonshire. The role supports four pillars of advanced practice: clinical, leadership, education and research.

The post offers full-time hours (36 per week) with visa sponsorship considered on a case-by-case basis and a modern benefits package within NHSGGC. You will lead patient care with autonomy and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• The successful applicant will have the opportunity to engage in regular CPD sessions and will be fully supported to address ongoing training and development needs upon appointment.
• Experience in clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning
• Ability to exercise clinical judgement and decision-making
• Knowledge of anatomy and pathophysiology
• Non-medical prescribing (V300)

Responsabilités

• Take and record a patient history with relevant details.
• Conduct a comprehensive clinical examination and mental health assessment as appropriate.
• Screen patients for disease using clinical findings and tests.
• Make diagnostic decisions based on tests and findings.
• Request appropriate diagnostic tests where indicated.
• Conduct invasive and non-invasive procedures where appropriate.
• Interpret test results and collaborate with other professionals.
• Formulate evidence-based treatment plans and management.
• Prescribe treatments as a Non-medical Prescriber.
• Implement non-pharmacological interventions as required.
