Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner for flexible regional primary care sessions across Shoreham-by-Sea. You will deliver advanced assessments and support GP and community services with autonomous practice.

Sessions are fully flexible, with weekday, evening or weekend availability, and you will work within established clinics in a supportive environment, maintaining patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• ANP-level qualification required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) credentials required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance in place.
• Experience in GP/urgent care/community settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics in primary care.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe within scope of competence.
• Record accurate clinical notes in digital systems.

You will deliver advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations and support routine patient demand within well-supported GP and community services. Each clinic provides clear pathways, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic's digital systems

Requirements

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification
• Independent Prescribing (V300)
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments
• Enhanced DBS clearance
