NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Clydebank is recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Trainee ANP to join the Advanced Practice Team within Cardiothoracic Surgery. The post initially based in Cardiac & Thoracic ward areas with opportunities to support services across the hospital.

The ANP will manage complete clinical care, including autonomous assessment, diagnosis, prescribing and leadership across teams, with a focus on evidence-based care and patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Master's level in Advanced Practice.
• NMC registration with prescriber status (V300).
• Significant post-registration experience at senior practitioner level.
• For trainee: degree-level education and Advanced Clinical Assessment qualification.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Undertaking comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis and clinical management.
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Requesting, interpreting and acting upon diagnostic investigations.
• Prescribing medications and initiating non-pharmacological interventions where appropriate.
• Providing clinical leadership, support and expert advice to colleagues.
• Contributing to policies, guidelines and service improvements.
• Supporting education, training, research and audit activities.
• Working autonomously while promoting multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.
