Job Type: Part Time (3 days per week).
Job Schedule: Wednesday – Friday. (Weekday; Dayshift).

Full Job Description:

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in a new outpatient corporate wellness clinic located in Edinburgh, UK. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with a new model wellness clinic where you will have the ability to be part of the process.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide general wellness checkups, proficient in well-women exam and well-male exam.
2. Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
3. Provide primary care.
4. Provide urgent care.
5. Provide Diabetes prevention based on pre-designed program.
6. Able to work in a team environment, may need to do phlebotomy or injections if nurse not available.

Requirements:

1. Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice required.
2. Current registration with the NMC.
3. Independent prescriber preferred.
4. Active BLS/ALS or CPR certification.
5. Occupational health background highly desirable.
6. Minimum 3 years experience of Adult Nursing or Primary Care/Urgent Care with knowledge of managing blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
7. Diabetes Prevention experience with knowledge of nutrition, medication, and managing blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
8. Must be able to perform phlebotomy.
9. Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.

Must be able to pass a background check and credit report review.
