Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will implement the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice, ensure adherence to all patient care policies, and demonstrate critical thinking, effective organization, and evidence-based nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year medical-surgical experience required; experience in OPD/Amb. Surg./L&D considered.
• Required Certification/Registration: Valid NY State RN license, BLS, cardiac rhythm course, Crisis Training, ACLS, PALS, ENPC/TNCC (preferred), CCRN or CEN (preferred).

Physical & Working Conditions

Position involves medium to light work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and requires physical agility, visual and auditory acuity, and the ability to work under pressure in a clinical environment with potential exposure to hazards.
