Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Are you looking for a predictable, manageable workload that includes 15-minute appointments? Are you interested in home visits as part of your clinic, not in addition to it? Do you want support to develop specialisms with full or part-funded training? Would you like dedicated monthly mentorship from your assigned GP Partner? Do you want to work in a world-class team of clinicians within one of the most successful primary care models in the south-west?

Salary

£50,000 – £60,504 per annum FTE DOE (up to £31 per hour DOE) + NHS pension + 6 weeks annual leave + bank holidays + study leave + indemnity.

Bristol (Southmead area)

The surgery

• GP Training & Research Practice
• Diverse demographic
• Large team of GPs, ANPs, clinical pharmacists, OH nurses, mental health nurses, and FCPs
• Built-in coffee break and team lunch every day
• Outstanding feedback from recent placements
• EMIS practice

Your role

Full or part-time, with flexible templates based on hours/days worked. Typical session includes:

• 7 x 15-minute appointments
• 30-minute coffee break
• 7 x 15-minute appointments

Additional sessions may involve supporting refugee patients, nursing homes, or research projects. Clinical sessions will be a mix of pre-bookable, same-day, urgent, and visit-based. Home visits replace appointments, not in addition. Specialisms are encouraged with support available—no glass ceiling.
