Job summary

Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced podiatrist with postgraduate qualifications and NHS MSK podiatry expertise to deliver patient-centred MSK podiatry care. You will work with colleagues to develop pathways, contribute to audits and drive service improvement.

This role offers opportunities to support the community podiatry team, participate in education and mentoring, and pursue MSc in Advanced Practice Podiatry within a supportive clinical leadership structure.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in podiatry or MSc in a related MSK field.
• Registration with Health Professions Council - Podiatry and HCPC standards may be required.
• Significant NHS MSK podiatry experience and advanced clinical skills.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a highly specialist musculoskeletal podiatry caseload with independent assessment and treatment of complex lower limb conditions.
• Provide expert biomechanical advice to patients, carers and colleagues; lead advanced biomechanical assessments and orthotic prescription.
