The Advanced Health Care Assistant (AHCA) is a member of a nursing team responsible for patient care and nursing team administration in the Emergency Department. The AHCA works within the Emergency Care nursing team, performing duties related to patient care and team administration in the Emergency Department. Duties are assigned and carried out under supervision, following individual care plans.
