Brewer Science, Inc. seeks a Controls Engineer II–IV to design, implement, and support automation software for manufacturing equipment in Dayton, OH. You will develop, test, and deploy control solutions, integrating PLCs, AB hardware, and PI data visualization to optimize plant performance.

The role involves mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in control strategies and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining automation software and controls.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET and PLC programming.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley systems and AVEVA PI.
• Knowledge of industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, switches).

Responsabilités

• Support and maintain controls programs (C#, .NET) based on standard programming methods.
• Support and maintain controls using Allen-Bradley systems.
• Debug and commission controls systems at facilities during system integration.
• Support AVEVA PI software for data visualization and dashboards.
• Develop software solutions to provide data access and alerts to manufacturing, beta groups, and various teams.
• Develop Software for PLCs using structured text and ladder logic.
• Configure and maintain industrial networks including EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet and Managed switches.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with control systems throughout the organization.
