Job summary

The Wooda Surgery is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our busy clinical team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Prescribers, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. We are a training practice for medical students and part of the Torridge Primary Care Network.

Hours: 30+ per week. Salary range: £50,000 to £56,700 FTE dependant on experience and qualifications. Closing date for applications: Friday 9th October 2026. Interviews to be held on: Monday 19th October 2026.

Qualifications

• Current UK professional registration
• Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required
• Compliance with Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, patient-centred clinical care in a primary care setting.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe and appropriately refer patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Diabetes and respiratory disease management with opportunities for development.
• Wound care management, diagnostic assessment and interpretation, infection prevention and control adherence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
