Job description

Job Introduction

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner on the Wards in Sittingbourne Community Hospital, you'll join a team of support workers/HCAs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses dedicated to exceeding patient needs within our North Kent community.


This role covers services in Swale, requiring work at both Sittingbourne Community Hospital and Sheppey Community Hospital.

You will support the delivery of care to complex patients, including those with life-limiting conditions like diabetes, in-dwelling long-term catheters, urgent wound care, and more.


This is a weekday service, working Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with no weekends or bank holidays required.

Main Responsibilities

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, practicing autonomously and flexibly based on your experience. Candidates should have significant experience in primary care or A&E/minor injuries units. You will collaborate with the service manager and clinical lead to deliver robust clinical care.

The Ideal Candidate

You will possess an Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification, be NMC registered, and hold a prescribing qualification.

You should be confident with IT systems and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
