Job summary

You will be responsible for dealing with around 30 patient contacts per day using a range of consultation methods including face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations.

You will be an independent prescriber, up to date with current prescribing guidance and NICE guidelines.

You will independently assess, take histories, and diagnose a range of ongoing and acute presentations as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

• Manage approximately 30 patient contacts per day.
• Review, action, and file pathology tests.
• Function as an independent prescriber.
• Make onward referrals into secondary care.
• Conduct home visits as required.
• Participate in weekly ward rounds in care and nursing homes as needed.
