Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking an experienced Assessing Social Worker to join its Adults Services team. This role focuses on Care Act assessments, safeguarding, and Court of Protection work within Adult Social Care, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with SW England registration.
• Experience in Adult Social Care.
• Knowledge of Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding legislation.
• Experience completing Court of Protection applications and related work.
• Experience with adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and complex needs.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and work autonomously.

About the Role
