Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Learning Disability Support Worker in Talbot Green to assist adults with learning disabilities in residential, supported living, or day services. You will help with daily tasks and promote independence while building strong relationships with service users and their families.

The role offers flexible shifts (day, night, and sleep-in) with immediate start and weekly pay. A valid enhanced DBS and UK work rights are required, and a driving licence is essential for

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a social care setting.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willing to pay for one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work above 24 hours per week.
• Driver's license is essential for community activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks including cooking, cleaning, and personal care.

• Supporting individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments

• Supporting emotional wellbeing and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
• Ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every individual in your care
• Observing, monitoring, and recording residents’ conditions accurately

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for one
• The right to work in the UK
• Ability to work above 24 hours per week
• A driver’s licence is essential, as supporting residents in the community involves attending activities or hobbies, requiring access to your own vehicle
