Worcestershire County Council is seeking an Adult Front Door Advisor to join the Adult Front Door team. The role is based at Wildwood, County Hall Campus and is a 35-hour per week, full-time post.

You will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking health and wellbeing support. You will provide early advice and signposting to local wellbeing services, work with colleagues to deliver short-term community interventions, and refer on to Social Work teams for appropriate Health & Social

The Role:

The Adult Front Door Service is the first point of contact for individuals seeking health and wellbeing support.

The Service supports people at the earliest opportunity to maximise the effectiveness of early intervention and prevention by:

• Providing advice and signposting to local wellbeing services and resources.
• Working in partnership with our colleagues to deliver short term intervention in the Community.
• Referring on to our Social Work teams for appropriate Health & Social Care support.

Adult Front Door Advisors will follow the Building on Strengths approach and principles by offering early advice, support and guidance to ensure as many individuals as possible are supported at the earliest opportunity.
