Job summary

Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook, Kent. The role offers 42.5 hours per week with early starts at 6:00am, Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity after a 12-week qualifying period, with regular hours, competitive pay, and full training. Applicants must hold a Category C licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and ADR (Packages).

Qualifications

• Requires HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence and ADR Packages licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Insurance requires a minimum of 90 days' HGV driving in the last 12 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/DR convictions within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers, including rural locations.
• Carry out manual handling as part of daily duties.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point.
• Work safely, professionally and in line with all company procedures and transport legislation.

Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook.

This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity, with the successful candidate joining the client on a permanent contract after a successful 12-week qualifying period. Working Hours

• 42.5 hours per week
• 6:00am starts, Monday to Friday (please let us know if you are interested in nights, as this may be possible)
• Some Saturday work required
• Overtime paid after 42.5 hours
