Job summary

Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook, Kent. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity after a 12-week qualifying period, with regular full-time hours and competitive rates of pay.

You will complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders, adhere to safety standards, and provide excellent customer service while working 6:00am start, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays. Training and on-going support are provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) held with up-to-date CPC.
• ADR (Packages) licence required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 90 days HGV driving in last 12 months (insurance).
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/DR convictions in last year.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers.
• Carry out manual handling as part of your daily duties.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point.
• Work safely and in line with company procedures and transport legislation.

Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook.

This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity, with the successful candidate joining the client on a permanent contract after a successful 12-week qualifying period. Working Hours

• 42.5 hours per week
• 6:00am starts, Monday to Friday (please let us know if you are interested in nights, as this may be possible)
• Some Saturday work required
• Overtime paid after 42.5 hours

Pay & Benefits

• £19.41 £21.75 per hour

What You'll Need
