Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting an ADR Class 2 driver for an ongoing role in Uxbridge. You will perform multi-drop deliveries with ADR Class 2 compliance, loading gas cylinders and maintaining safety standards across all shifts.

Earn £19.41 per hour with guaranteed 42.5 hours weekly, overtime at £29.12, and weekends paid at £29.12. London weighting £7.75 per shift, plus LPG training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence with Digi card and DCPC.
• ADR licence in class 2 for packages.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery to domestic, commercial customers and wholesale suppliers.
• Multi-drop operations under ADR/CDG regulations.
• Safe loading/unloading of HGV with gas cylinders.
• Maintain high H&S standards during driving and deliveries.

ADR Class 2 Driver

Competitive Pay:

Earn £19.41 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £29.12. Weekends paid at £29.12. Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service. (London weighting bonus of £7.75 per shift) - Ongoing position.

Full LPG training provided, All PPE provided free of charge, Scrupulously maintained vehicles and a strong emphasis on H&S.

Yearly Bonuses:

Performance-based bonuses available worth upto £2000 per annum

Flexible Shifts:

Monday to Friday (Day shifts) with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 07:00am - 17:00pm Some overtime is required.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery to domestic/commercial customers and wholesale suppliers
• Multi-drop operation covered by ADR/CDG Regulations.
• Difficult and challenging delivery environment. Lots of minor roads, single lane carriageways, adverse weather conditions, physically arduous work
• Strong focus on H&S when driving and delivering
• Ever changing and dynamic delivery environment
• Monday to Friday shift pattern
• Potentially long and extended working hours (10 hours+ per day) during peak period
• Delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards.
• Loading / Unloading of HGV Vehicles with Gas cylinders
• Manual handling of Gas cylinders

Requirements:

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card
• ADR licence in class 2 in packages
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.

Details:

• The role is due to start immediately and will be ongoing
• Lots of management and colleague support available
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
