Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Class 2 ADR driver to join our client's team in Preston. The role involves multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders, ensuring safe, professional operations and top-notch customer service.

Typical shifts run around 7am–5pm with some overtime; weekends may be required during busy periods. Discounted training and PPE are provided, with on-site parking available.

Qualifications

• ADR Class 2 licence required.
• Cat C licence and Digi card required.
• DCPC card and familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs required.
• DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-drop deliveries of Gas cylinders.
• Provide safe and professional operations in line with client standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and safety practices.

Competitive Pay:

Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £25.70 Weekends paid at £25.70 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Yearly Bonuses:

Performance-based bonuses twice a year

Flexible Shifts:

Monday to Friday with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 7am - 5pm. Some overtime is required.

Requirements:

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card
• ADR licence in class 2 in packages
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.

Details:

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered
• The role is due to start immediately and will run until the end of May 2027 when it will be reviewed
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
