Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join the Adolescent Intervention Prevention Team in Southend-on-Sea. You will assess and plan interventions for adolescents, working with families, schools and agencies to safeguard young people.

The role requires a Social Work England registered professional with experience in safeguarding, excellent communication and strong organisational skills, capable of managing a diverse caseload.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Experience with adolescents and safeguarding.
• Strong communication, organisational and caseload skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for adolescents.
• Collaborate with families, schools and agencies for holistic support.
• Provide direct support to adolescents facing mental health, family breakdown or exclusion risks.
• Maintain accurate records aligned with safeguarding policies.
• Engage in team meetings, supervision and training to enhance skills.
