Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking a Children Social Worker to join our Adolescents Team in Hertfordshire (Dacorum). You will assess needs, develop care plans, and deliver tailored interventions to support vulnerable young people and their families.

You will work with partners across schools, health services and community organisations, ensuring voices are heard and records are accurately kept, in line with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised social work qualification (DipSW/CQSW/BA Hons Social Work).
• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Experience working with adolescents in a social work setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with young people and families.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of children and adolescents to identify needs and strengths.
• Develop and implement effective care plans with families and other professionals.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
• Collaborate with schools, health services and community organisations to provide holistic support.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with local and national standards.
