The University of West London is seeking a senior admissions professional to lead the Home Admissions Team and support the Head of Admissions in creating a culture of professionalism, responsibility and accountability. The Marketing, Recruitment and Communications Department engages in various activities to communicate our brand to all stakeholders and make the UWL’s mission and values visible to them. In addition, we facilitate the recruitment and admissions process of our students. The department comprises of five teams: communications & events, campaigns, digital, recruitment & customer relationship and admissions.
Management of the Home Admissions Team and assisting the Head of Admissions to instil and maintain a culture of professionalism, responsibility and accountability. The post holder is required to make a significant contribution towards the strategic planning of the Admissions Team and manage day-to-day operations. They are expected to deliver excellent services to all stakeholders and be proactive and responsive to University requirements as they arise.
Candidates must be educated to degree level (or equivalent) standard and have previous experience of working in a senior admissions role at a Higher Education Institution, that involves line management. Candidates must be self-motivated with a flexible, proactive approach to work, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A proven ability to lead a team is essential. The post holder will be expected to work on site full time.
Interviews are expected to be held on Wednesday 4 November 2026, in person at the Ealing Campus.
