This key post sits within the Admissions & Student Recruitmentteam, part of the wider HaSS Faculty International, Marketing &Student Recruitment unit. The ASR team’s remit is to manageadmissions and recruitment for the faculty’s Undergraduate,PGDE and Postgraduate taught programmes, across full andpart-time routes and multiple entry points throughout the year.

The postholder will manage the full PGDE applicant journey fromenquiry and pre-application, selecting suitable candidates forinterview, to offer making and subsequent conversion activity,including offer acceptance, deposit payment and scholarshipmanagement to the point of student registration for our broadrange of applicants from Scotland, RUK and Internationally, withthe aim of maximising recruitment, meeting and exceedingtargets and student fee income.

The team delivers assessment and selection activities designedto ensure qualified students are admitted across all levels ofstudy from Scotland, overseas and other countries within the UK.The postholder will deliver the assessment and selection processfrom dealing with initial enquiries to applications and ultimately towhen applicants fully confirm their place to study at theUniversity of Strathclyde.
