As an Administrator within our Blue Badge Team, you'll play a vital role in helping eligible residents access the support they need to maintain their independence and mobility. Working in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, you will assess Blue Badge applications against Department for Transport eligibility criteria, review supporting evidence and make informed decisions with accuracy and confidence. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing clear advice and guidance by phone, email and letter, while delivering an excellent service that is professional, compassionate and responsive. Alongside managing the administration of the Blue Badge process and using a range of government and internal systems, you'll work closely with colleagues to meet service targets and ensure applications are processed efficiently.

We are a busy and supportive team who are passionate about helping people and we take pride in giving the best service we can. This role will be worked from a fixed base listed in the job details above. Following completion of a successful training period, along with your competence and confidence to do the job, although the role is primarily office based, there may be some flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.
