Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Onsite Administrator / Document Controller to join their team on a major construction project in Blyth.
This role is ideal for someone with previous administration, document control or site support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring workforce records, training documentation and site compliance information are maintained accurately, helping the project run smoothly and safely.
Working closely with the site management team, you'll be responsible for maintaining workforce records, tracking training and certification information, and ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with project requirements.
You will manage site onboarding processes, coordinate inductions, maintain attendance records and support the day-to-day administration of the project. The role will involve checking qualifications and certification records, including CSCS, CPCS and NPORS cards, while ensuring all relevant Health & Safety documentation has been completed before operatives are granted site access.
You'll also liaise with supervisors, labour suppliers and contractors, helping to keep personnel records accurate and supporting workforce compliance across the site. In addition, you'll assist with audits, maintain document control systems and produce reports and trackers using Microsoft Excel.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within an administration, document control or site support role, ideally within construction, engineering, industrial or infrastructure environments.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience maintaining compliance records, onboarding documentation and document control systems would be highly advantageous.
Knowledge of construction site processes and experience checking CSCS, CPCS, NPORS or similar industry qualifications would be beneficial, although candidates with strong administration experience from similar sectors are also encouraged to apply.
