Job summary

We are seeking an Administrator in Fareham to join an established organisation operating within the construction, maintenance and facilities management sector. You will support the coordination of property repairs and maintenance services and help manage daily planning and communications across multiple stakeholders.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous administration experience within a busy, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry/keyboard skills.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
  • An understanding of building maintenance trades would be advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of local geographical areas, routes and travel times.
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at Grade C or above.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately record and update information relating to new and ongoing repairs, appointments and jobs across internal systems.
  • Manage shared inboxes and respond to emails and queries from clients, operatives, subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Support daily planning by allocating operatives and subcontractors based on skills, availability, location and appointments.
  • Coordinate materials and equipment ordering, ensuring the correct materials are available and used in line with specifications.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, assist with surveys and contribute to regular client reporting and performance updates.
  • Identify and lift issues where required, ensuring effective communication between customers, operatives, subcontractors and management.

Location: Fareham

Salary: £29,174 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time hours

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join an established organisation operating within the construction, maintenance and facilities management sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic administrator to join a busy team, supporting the coordination of property repairs and maintenance services.

The Role
