Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking an Administrator to join a small, supportive team in Burford. This role is suitable for someone starting out or with early admin experience who thrives in a busy environment and prides themselves on accuracy and customer service.

You will support day-to-day operations, handle calls and inbox queries, maintain the diary, process declarations, renewals, endorsements and invoices, and ensure tasks are completed on time with high quality.

Qualifications

  • Previous administration experience is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Confidence working independently as well as in a small team.
  • Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Positive, enthusiastic and motivated approach.

Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming calls and assisting with queries.
  • Managing administration inbox enquiries and responding promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining the central diary system, processing declarations and following up documentation.
  • Processing daily adjustments, including assigning rates and terms where required.
  • Processing new policies and renewals accurately and efficiently.
  • Setting up and maintaining policy endorsements, vehicle rates and declarations.
  • Issuing invoices when required.
  • Ensuring policies are processed and maintained accurately and in accordance with procedures.
  • Managing workload to meet deadlines and timescales.
  • Providing excellent administrative and customer service support to brokers and internal teams.

We're looking for an Administrator, to join our client's small and supportive administration team. Whether you're just starting your career or have some previous administration experience, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy working environment, takes pride in delivering accurate work and has excellent communication and customer service skills.

You’ll provide essential support across the day-to-day running of the business.
