Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated individual to manage administrative tasks and contribute to the overall coordination of production support functions. This role will involve purchasing, managing inventories, maintaining the workspace, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

What will be your responsibilities:

  1. Purchasing & Supplier Coordination: Handle purchasing tasks, contact suppliers, and provide feedback to colleagues on orders and purchases.
  2. Attendance & Timeliness: Ensure punctuality with entry/exit times, breaks, and task durations.
  3. Maintenance of Facilities & Tools: Ensure facilities, equipment, and tools are maintained in good condition.
  4. Collaborative Communication: Maintain good, assertive communication with colleagues from other sections.
  5. Inventory Management: Assign and identify serial numbers or batches for received materials.
  6. Warehouse Management: Oversee general warehouse management, including visual Kanban sheets and stock replenishment.
  7. Production Support: Collaborate with production to take corrective actions to address stock shortages and prevent recurrence.
  8. Critical Thinking: Use critical thinking in purchases and supplier requests.
  9. Meeting Deadlines: Ensure that tasks and deliveries are completed on time.
  10. Workplace Safety: Ensure safety in the workplace, preventing risky behaviors and improper use of equipment.
  11. Work Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area before, during, and after task completion.
  12. Cross-Section Tasks: Perform tasks in other sections as production needs arise.
  13. Instruction Implementation: Implement instructions received from supervisors.
  14. Team Contribution: Contribute to a motivated, productive, and disciplined team.

Profile and requirements:

  1. Education: Minimum required education.
  2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the role.
  3. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
  4. Goal-Oriented: Focus on achieving production goals.
  5. Communication & Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
  6. United Kingdom (required) - To apply for this role candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
