Job description



An exciting opportunity has arisen, for an Administrative Officer Multi-Disciplinary Adoption Support Service (MDASS) to offer support right across the North-East of England for families where children are adopted.





WHAT IS INVOLVED?



The MDASS is a multi-disciplinary team that consists of health and social care staff. As a service, MDASS aims to provide timely and quality, evidence-based support to adopted children and their families where they are experiencing challenges and there are multi-layers of need. These may be due to trauma from early experiences that have impacted on the child’s development and attachment.



You will provide a high-quality administrative service to support key processes relating to the team and provide administration of robust systems to meet MDASS service need and responsibilities.



MDASS is a trauma-informed team who provide a supportive work environment whilst striving to deliver a high-quality service.

You will need a BTEC National, NVQ 2 Business Administration or equivalent.

HYBRID WORKING (if applicable)



Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
