JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant

REPORTS TO: Director of Data Systems & Analytics

Center for Family Life (CFL) is seeking an administrative assistant to provide essential multi-faceted support to CFL’s family, youth, employment, and community service programs.
Job Description:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Review participant intake documents
- Enroll participants and enter attendance into online databases
- Check participant folders and staff folders for accuracy
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
- Type in data provided directly from program participants
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Help to assign tasks and oversee office interns
- Perform general office duties: answer multi-line phone, check voicemails, file documents, etc.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in data entry
- Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
- Basic understanding of databases
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalency Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Years of Experience: At least one year of office-related experience required
- Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese preferred

Anticipated Start Date: 07/01/2025
This is a part-time position at 15 hours per week. The hourly range is $16.50 - $20.00 per hour.
