Job description

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager and Administrator in various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the home.

Main duties of the job

Your focus as an Administrative Assistant will be to support the General Manager and Administrator in administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the Home and meet Head Office deadlines on financial procedures and all information returns. Other responsibilities will include being responsible for the submission of data to enable invoicing, assisting in the preparation and dispatch of management information, placing purchase orders, and managing resident's personal allowance.

About the Role

Your role involves supporting the General Manager and Administrator with administrative tasks to ensure smooth management of the Home and compliance with Head Office deadlines for financial procedures and information returns.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Submitting data for invoicing by the Group Support Centre.
  • Preparing, collating, and dispatching management information to Central Support Office upon request.
  • Placing purchase orders with approved suppliers, maintaining stock levels, and controlling expenditure within budget.
  • Managing residents' personal allowances and assisting with financial arrangements as needed.
About You

  • Two years of clerical experience.

Additional Requirements

This role requires a DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare) and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
