Rikama Education Ltd. is working in partnership with a progressive and well-regarded secondary school located in Bromley (BR1). This school is known for its commitment to academic excellence, strong exam performance, and a positive Ofsted rating.
We are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join the school's busy office team. This is a long-term supply role, with the potential for extension or a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming visitors and managing reception enquiries
Answering and directing incoming calls
Maintaining accurate student attendance records
Managing incoming and outgoing email and post
Preparing letters, reports, emails, and newsletters using IT systems
Monitoring and replenishing school supplies
Keeping accurate financial and administrative records
Using reprographic equipment for printing and copying
Processing invoices, ordering resources, and banking school funds
Submitting essential school data to the Department for Education or relevant authorities
What We're Looking For:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
Proficient in IT and administrative software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and parents
Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
A professional, discreet, and friendly manner
Previous experience working in a school office, particularly with SEN or secondary school environments, is highly desirable.
